1965 Acadian Beaumont

We ocassionaly get calls with people who have rare cars they want to sell. Sometimes we can help suggest a buyer, other times we might be interested and still other times it is such an interesting car we like to share it with all of our readers. Here is one such car. I have seen one at a couple of shows and they are certainly interesting to the muscle car crowd. Here is the info that was supplied by the owner.

This is a Rare Canadian Muscle Car. It is a 1965 Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe which was built in Oshawa Ontario, Canada. GM of Canada documentation says only 23 of these Acadian Beaumonts were built with the L79 ( 327 ci/350 hp) option. Although it is built on the American Chevelle body it is considered to be the Original Canadian GTO. The owner’s research says there are only 6 of the original 23 built that are still in existence.

This is one of the rarest Muscle Cars ever built. Production Numbers:

-1965 Chevelle L79 = 6,021

-1966 Nova L79 = 5,481 1965

-Chevelle Z16 = 206 1969

-Camero  Zl1 = 69

-1966 Acadian Canso L79 = 85

-1965 Nova Body style 1965 Acadian Beaumont = 23

This Chevelle Body Style car has been in many invitational Classic Car Shows including: Medowbrook Concourse  De Elegance, Feature Car at the Sloan Museum, Invited to the Muscle Car Show in Chattanooga Tn, Canadian World of Wheels, Detroit Autorama, and many more  car shows plus a article written about it in Muscle Car Enthusiast Magazine.

The owner has not only one of these rare machines but also owns a total of 2 of the 6 remaining L79 Beaumonts!

Here is a chance to own your own rare Canadian Muscle Car and stand out amoungst the other Chevelle and GTO owners. The owner wants to sell one or both to a Classic car Collector.

 Car is no longer available.

I grew up and lived in Iowa for a good portion of my life before moving to Southern California. After 20+ years we now live outside Nashville Tennessee. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle especially the 1969/1970 NASCAR Aero Cars. (Check out our other web site at www.TalladegaSpoilerRegistry.com site) As long as it has four wheels and an engine I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife, Katriana, is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. We have a small collection that includes at least one car from each of the Big Three. It includes a Best of Show winner, a survivor, a driver with lots of patina and several others. Katrina prefers all original cars while I like to modify them so we have a few of each. When we aren't playing with cars we are out working with or showing our miniature donkeys.
