2014 Corvette
I have owned Corvettes, old and new since I was 21 years old. That amounts two approximately two dozen different cars over the years. Each one had an entireley different personality. It wasn’t until the C5 cars came out that I absolutely fell in love with them. The C5, in my mind, was the very first Corvette that had it all. It was beautiful, ran like a rabbit with its tail on fire but still was capable of an honest 28mpg on the road.
Chevrolet just unvailed the C7 and I have mixed emotions but my first reaction is I would sure love to park that in my garage. Is it enough to make me part with my C5 ZO6? No, at least not for some time. One thing I know, first year Corvettes are often not very well built. The price is another issue. Would I like a new Corvette or keep my old one and have a couple more old muscle cars? I think I will start shopping for one more muscle car!
