Cale Yarborough, who is he?

He was born in 1940 in Timmonsville, SC. he started racing in 1957, with the goal of becoming a NASCAR star. he raced for the Wood Brothers in the famous number 21 and also raced at the Indy 500. On the same weekend he started the Indy 500 in 7th place and started the Charlotte World 600 on the pole!



In 1969 he won both the Daytona 500 and he 400 as well as the Atlanta 500 and the Southern 500. he retired after 31 years on October 4, 1988. By then he had logged 83 Winston Cup wins and 48 superspeedway poles. He won three consecutive Winston Cup Championships and was indcted into the International Motorshorts Hall of Fame in 1993.

It is an honor to own a car with his name on the side of it!
