Ford Car Show; Fabulous Fords Forever

1954 FordIf you like Fords you have to go to a Fabulous Fords Forever car show. You will find some of the best Blue Oval cars anywhere and some of the best car folks you will ever meet. We just got back from a hot day on the asphalt on Saturday but had a “Fabulous” time. Good friends, good cars and lots of sweet tea.

You don’t even have to be a Ford person to appreciate these cars. In fact if some of you Bow Tie and Mopar folks went to a Ford show I bet you would find something you would even appreciate. I have owned something from all of the big three plus many of the others. I can’t say I have a preference for one over the other any more.

What I will tell you is when you go to a Ford show you will find some beautiful cars you most likely have never seen or haven’t seen for a very long time. At this show there was a rat rod, custom pickups, restored cars of all vintages, customs, muscle cars, economy cars, if Blue Oval made it there was likely one there.

My thanks go out to all the Club Members from the Manchester, Tennessee area who put on a great show and I am looking forward to the 18th annual show next year. Oh, one suggestion; could you talk the County into air conditioning the parking lot before next year?

I grew up and lived in Iowa for a good portion of my life before moving to Southern California. After 20+ years we now live outside Nashville Tennessee. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle especially the 1969/1970 NASCAR Aero Cars. (Check out our other web site at www.TalladegaSpoilerRegistry.com site) As long as it has four wheels and an engine I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife, Katriana, is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. We have a small collection that includes at least one car from each of the Big Three. It includes a Best of Show winner, a survivor, a driver with lots of patina and several others. Katrina prefers all original cars while I like to modify them so we have a few of each. When we aren't playing with cars we are out working with or showing our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.
