New Reproduction Parts

We own a couple of 1969 Mercury Cyclone Spoilers and one Spoiler II. One problem that everyone who owns one of these cars experiences is the warping and splitting of the factory spoiler. Original replacements are next to impossible to find and when you do they are most likely badly damaged or warped. The originals are made from a very cheap plastic that was not designed to last 50 years. It is very common to see these missing from an otherwise original car but it is even more common to see an incorrect Mustang/Cougar or even a MOPAR spoiler installed. Although these are similar in appearance they will not fool anyone who knows the cars. These other spoilers have the adjustable pedestals and the distance between the pedestals is different as is the overall length.

It has been a long hard road but we have now delivered a number of our exact reproduction spoilers.  Our reproductions are made of fiberglass with the mold made from an original wing. The pedestals are cast aluminum just like the originals and their molds were also taken from an original pedestal.

Reproduction spoiler in assembly

Every one of our spoilers come fully painted with gaskets, bolts and spacers. They are ready to bolt on. If you don’t have a spoiler or yours is damaged these are the perfect replacement. We even took our original factory spoilers off and put them in storage. That keeps the original from being leaned on and broken at a show. That often is what happens to these fragile pieces. We installed our reproductions and no one can tell the difference. These are much stronger than the originals and weigh approximately the same so there is no problem with the trunk staying open.

We have gone to considerable expense to produce an item that is nearly impossible to tell from an original.

The cost is $750 plus shipping and includes everything you need to bolt it onto your car. If you just need gaskets or a pedestal we can also help you out there.

Spoiler 003 (Small)

This is a very limited production run and we have already sold approximately half of what we will produce.

I grew up and lived in Iowa for a good portion of my life before moving to Southern California. After 20+ years we now live outside Nashville Tennessee. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle especially the 1969/1970 NASCAR Aero Cars. (Check out our other web site at www.TalladegaSpoilerRegistry.com site) As long as it has four wheels and an engine I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife, Katriana, is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. We have a small collection that includes at least one car from each of the Big Three. It includes a Best of Show winner, a survivor, a driver with lots of patina and several others. Katrina prefers all original cars while I like to modify them so we have a few of each. When we aren't playing with cars we are out working with or showing our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.
