Delahaye 135 MS Roadster designed and built by Figoni for the 1937 Paris Auto Show. It has an all aluminum hand built body. The original design for the Paris Show had no bumpers and a head light in the grill.
We have traveled to many locations in the US to visit collector car museums. We have seen some extremely rare and beautiful cars. It is a rare circumstance when those rare cars come to visit us, but that is exactly what The Frist Museum in downtown Nashville did.
They brought together some of the most beautiful cars from all over the Country to display in the Art Deco Frist Center for the Visual Arts. We recently visited the Sensuous Steel Art Deco Automobiles exhibition. All but a couple of cars we had previously seen on visits to other collections but the couple we had not previously seen made the trip worth while. If you have the opportunity to see anything similar in your area make sure it is a priority. I don’t care if you are a muscle car, sports car, hot rod or even rat rod guy you will love the special cars from the Art Deco time period.

1930 Henderson Motorcycle
This is the 1930 Henderson KJ Streamline 1200cc 40 HP inline 4 Cylinder motorcycle. It was capable of 100 mph but very difficult and impractical to ride.
This look more like a Batman Motorcycle than one from 1930!
Talbot
Look at the lines and the shadows of this design.
This is the dash of the Talbot as seen through the rear window.
The rear of the Talbot has extraordinary detail.
Without question this Talbot was our favorite car in the exhibit. We have seen 5 of the 6 we believe were built and it is nearly impossible to pick a favorite from those built.
Every inch of the Talbot is “designed”/
Talbot
The lines and details on this Talbot are timeless.

I grew up and lived in Iowa for a good portion of my life before moving to Southern California. After 20+ years we now live outside Nashville Tennessee. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle especially the 1969/1970 NASCAR Aero Cars. (Check out our other web site at www.TalladegaSpoilerRegistry.com site) As long as it has four wheels and an engine I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife, Katriana, is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. We have a small collection that includes at least one car from each of the Big Three. It includes a Best of Show winner, a survivor, a driver with lots of patina and several others. Katrina prefers all original cars while I like to modify them so we have a few of each. When we aren't playing with cars we are out working with or showing our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.
We attend the Sensuous car exhibit in Nashville in 2013 , did this exhibit move and or where can it be seen again . This was the best car exhibit we have ever been to and would love to visit it again. Please feel free to email me if this is possible.
This was an outstanding exhibit but unfortunately, it was also temporary. It was in Nashville for a short time and then may have traveled to other cities but I am not sure where. I am sure it is no longer touring.
