SNEAK PEEK: FIRST 2011 MOTION 427-SC CAMARO!

In our last article we went old school and showed you an article from 1968 and the Royal Pontiac Bobcat Firebird. Today’s car from the same GM family tree but a totally different breed. 40 plus years is a long time and the changes are remarkable, this is a world class Camaro. Mr. Motion was the Performance guy of the late 60s and early 70s. His legend lives on in this new Motion 427-SC Camaro. Here is a news release you will want to read.

It will be shown to the public for the first time on April 8-10 at the Palm Beach International Raceway, Jupiter, FL. Joel Rosen will take delivery of his gold-trimmed Synergy Green Camaro on April 9th at the Toyo Tires exhibit. Custom front spoiler, wheel center caps, MOTION badging and exhaust extensions to be installed prior to shipping. The limited-production Phase III 427-SC Supercharged Supercar is the “Bad Boy” of the 2011 Baldwin-Motion Fantastic Five lineup that includes an SS-427, Phase III 427, SS-454 and Phase III 454 Camaros. I grew up and lived in Iowa for a good portion of my life before moving to Southern California. After 20+ years we now live outside Nashville Tennessee. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle especially the 1969/1970 NASCAR Aero Cars. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife, Katriana, is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. We have a small collection that includes at least one car from each of the Big Three. It includes a Best of Show winner, a survivor, a driver with lots of patina and several others. Katrina prefers all original cars while I like to modify them so we have a few of each. When we aren't playing with cars we are out working with or showing our miniature donkeys.
