As much as we all love our cars it is impossible to drive, race or show them all the time regardless of how much we would like to. As a result the concept of the “Man Cave” as a place to hang out with our beloved vehicles has become a passion for many of us. If you are like me, I spend more time in my Man Cave as I do in the cars. These days I also spend as much time fixing up the Cave as I do the cars. Winter is especially an inviting time to just sit back with friends on the couch under the neon and talk cars.

Here is a look at one corner of our Man Cave. In future Posts we will discuss some of the details.

Although we have seen lots of Man Cave photos of the garages of the very elite. We have even been fortunate enough to have visited some of these over the top monuments to the wealth of some collectors. However, we are even more fond of the Man Caves that feature the unique and hard to find or obtain auto related memorabilia in the everyday guy’s garage.

We are partial to lots of detail and smaller items in our Man Cave displays. See more in follow up posts and send us some photos from your Cave.

If the cars are expensive and the room is large with lots of space between the cars this is far more than a "cave".

I have not visited this garage in person but I have seen a similar version with the balcony above and I really like this approach if you have the room and the money.

I grew up and lived in Iowa for a good portion of my life before moving to Southern California. After 20+ years we now live outside Nashville Tennessee. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle especially the 1969/1970 NASCAR Aero Cars. (Check out our other web site at www.TalladegaSpoilerRegistry.com site) As long as it has four wheels and an engine I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife, Katriana, is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. We have a small collection that includes at least one car from each of the Big Three. It includes a Best of Show winner, a survivor, a driver with lots of patina and several others. Katrina prefers all original cars while I like to modify them so we have a few of each. When we aren't playing with cars we are out working with or showing our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.
