National Parts Depot (NPD) Private Collection
We have visited a lot of museums and car collections but never one quite like that of National Parts Depot. Theirs consists of well over 100 cars and most are extremely low mile originals. Many of us think of them as Mustang Parts suppliers but they supply quality parts for many other types of cars and trucks.
In their showroom when I visited was this beautiful Mustang with only 1,300 miles since new! Who buys a new Mustang in 1965 and only puts 1,300 miles on it? I could do that in one weekend!
They als0 have the ORIGINAL Smokey and the Bandit Pontiac Trans Am in the collection. This car brings back so many memories and still is as beautiful today as it was the day it was new.
If you would like to see more detail on some of these cars Click Here.
Here are some of our favorites from the collection. However, I will also say there wasn’t one car or truck in the entire collection that I wouldn’t want in my own garage!
Since our visit, the NPD Museum has continued to add cars and improve their facilities. I will definitely make a retire if I am ever back in the area. Here is a video they have produced that will help satisfy my needs until I can return.
Do you allow visitors to view car collection?
They did when I was there.
Is this open to the public when in Florida I would like visit?
Looking to tour your car collection in Ocala. I have a small group of five or six car enthusiasts. I could also join another tour group if available.
My phone number is 352-753-7710.

We are not NPD, you should contact them directly. Do a Google search for National Parts Depot.
My wife and I are going to be in Florida in mid-February 2020. Is there any chance we could get a tour of your car collection? We are huge car enthusiasts. Thanks you for considering this request.
We are not part of NPD, you need to contact them directly at (352) 861-8700. They used to allow tours and I believe they still do but call first to make sure. It is worth the visit.
I recently re-watched some older episodes of My Classic Cars with Ricks collection featured. I tried to send a message but I don’t think it got to him.
I am a recently retired school teacher, I taught for 45 years. At the end of my first year I purchased a new 1976 Thunderbird. I still have the car. It has 22,000 original miles and is in excellent condition.
After watching a few episodes with Rick and his passion for these cars , I decided I wanted to reach out to him and see if he would be interested in the car. I have 4 Mustangs and I think I am now ready to let the Thunderbird go. It would be an easier decision to make if I knew the car was in a place like NPD collection of cars and could have a great “ second home”
I don’t know if this is the right place to try but if and contact information could be sent that would be great.
Have a great day everyone!

My wife and I are huge car enthusiasts. We would love to see the collection we have heard so much about. We will be in Ocala on Match 7. Hopefully we could get an opportunity to see it.
Thanks!
Our website has no connection with NPD. Their collection is open to the public at last check. You should stop at their store in FL and the collection was at that location.
