NASCAR Craftsman Trucks and ARCA Nashville 2008; Great Show
The following photos and comments are from the August 9, 2008 races at Nashville Speedway.Johnny Benson takes the Checkers and burns some rubber. This may hurt.
Ted Musgrave had a good finish and didn’t win but he got to do a burn out on the front stretch right on the Craftsman logo, problem was it was in the middle of the race.
Keven Wood made his own short bed pickup a little shorter!
Michael Annett looked good but he messed up his Truck big time.
He tried to keep going but the trail of sparks told the story.
Opening ceremonies were not as good as the Olympics abut still impressive.
This fan had a great seat. He could sit anywhere he wanted! This is the biggest Praying Mantis I have ever seen.
Early in the race Todd Bodine looked like the Truck to beat, and Johnny did just that.Ooooopppppsssss. The ARCA race was ran just before the Trucks and also put on a very good show with close racing and a lot of bumper car action.
Brian Silas tried to make a Gremlin out of his race car.
This is typical of the on track racing.
Scott Speed pulls out of his pits and on to win the race. Watch out for him when he starts to move up to Nationwide and CUP.
