The Memphis Super Chevy Show for 20o9 was a wet one! We had a great time and there were more cars than I expected and the quality of what was there was terrific. We will do this one again.
The reflection of this pick up in the puddle was typical of the weekend. Dry it off, watch it rain, dry it off, watch it rain, do it again and again.
Our El Camino turned into a bath tub!

One of these 57 Chevy convertibles was left out in the rain a little too long, it shrank up to half size!

Katrina says 63 Split Windows should not be messed with; I say it would be a boring world if everything was left stock.
I have notices a large increase in 59/60 Chevy dashes in Camaros. Should I put a Camaro dash in our 59? Not on your life.
This 66 El Camino “Gold Class” truck went home to Texas with a Best in Show. Congratulations!
However, this truck just does not float my boat. It is detailed to the max and shows incredible detail but it is just boring and plain. It needs something I just don’t know what. The judges liked it and filled the bed with trophies and plaques so I must be wrong.
Another 59 Chevy showed up, highly unusual to see two at the same show.

This is the car that Katrina and I picked as the Best in Show. Sorry dude no trophy from us. These old Willys usually end up looking like old dragesters but this one takes that theme but turns it into a highly refined and very beautiful Street Rod.
