Chicky, First of all I am NOT an expert on the Indy Pace Cars! However, I hope some of the other readers out there will be able to help you. Most of the photos I have seen do use the Magnum 500 weels as shown on our Talladega. The ones on our car are 15" but I would guess that the ones on the Indy Pace car are 14" but have no way of knowing. I have also seen some photos of the Pace Car with regular steel wheels, trim rings and center caps like were used on the 69 Talladega. There will photos of these on our car posted in a week or so. I am afraid I have not been a lot of help but some of the real experts on these cars might be out there and will respond with more accurate info. Send me some photos of your car and I will post them on the site.

I just found your site and love it. I recently purchased a '68 Torino Pace Car, and plan to make it look like the actual pace car that did the race. What kind of wheels are in the above pics, and are they the same that was on the origingal Pace Car? Pics of the pace car can be seen at the Indy 500 web site. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Clarence, our car was not at the Garrett Museum. However, it is nearly identical and we will have it at Talladega for the reunion. I will send you and email.
