Project Cars: Legendary Collector Cars
All of these cars are currently in our garage for major or minor projects. Not all the work is done by us, much of it goes out to local shops who do top quality work. You will also want to check out our Completed Project Cars page as well as our Friends’ Projects and Projects by Others page.
Rat Rod; Barn Find
Project Rat Rod is our newest addition. It really isn’t a Barn Find, it is a Pasture Find! Unfortunately, it never made its way into the Barn! We just got this body home and and beginning to plan out the build. Read this article and tell us what you think. We will be starting this very soon and want your input on how to build this latest addition to our Project Car inventory.
1969 AMX Project Cars
Project 1: Silver AMX
Our first 1969 AMX project car was purchased in the spring of 2009 but was sold in December of 09. We will show you those steps we completed on the the project from going to look at it; bringing it home; first inspection and all the restoration work. We acquired 100% of the sheet metal we needed to repair the rust and completed the installation prior to it being sold.

1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 428 CJ-UPDATED 09-13-09
This is a rare authentic 1969 Mercury Cougar XR 7 428 CJ. This is a C6 automatic car with PS, PB, posi and AIR. This car is sound but not a show car. We just completed installing a 465HP 428 CJ motor and beefed up C6. It will likely get a full repaint, we will clean up the interior, fix the air conditioning. If it doesn’t get painted this year when I am done having fun, it will get treated to a deserving paint job and then all cleaned up for show duty in 2010.

1967 Mustang Fastback UPDATED 12-08-09
Because of the Gloriana Music Video this project has changed direction once again. I have owned this Stang for nearly 25 years. It was my daily driver for a while and everyone of my kids drove it to high school. Each one of them also left their marks on the body. It is a sound rust free Southern California car. Click Here to see the current status, we have just started the body repair.

1968 Mercury Cyclone GT 500

Go to its page and see what I know about it to date and what you might be able to help me with. We are learning more about these rare Cyclone GT 500s almost daily. Thank you for all your help. Our car is in such poor condition I am not sure we will be able to restore it. Its future is still in question. It may get re-bodied, parted out, turned into a race car replica or sold off. Stay tuned.
