When I came back to Keokuk, I lived two doors down from this short guy with a REALLY loud lawn mower. The neighbor in between would buy mufflers, but they never seemed to work. Within a couple months, the name Ernie Derr comes up. Being 14, 15, I had no clue until dad filled me in. The day I came home with an S10, and he walks over, looks under the hood, snuffed and said "only a 4?" and simply walked away before I could explain myself will crack me up til the day I die!!
