Project Car: Shelby Clone in Norway

This is not one of our Project Cars but we like to post Project Cars others have completed. This car was built by Pony Performance in Norway. We don’t have a lot of details about this car but the hand fabrication of the hood, muffler and other items tells a lot of the story on this fabulous machine.

Besides, it is cool to see what is happening in other parts of the World in our auto culture.

Now this is taking a car down to the bone.

Check out the rear wheel tubs without the quarter panel installed.

Rear suspension started as a kit but required significant modification to fit into its new home.

Building a Shelby hood out of fiberglass is a snap, build it out of steel and you are a real man.

Speaking of metal work, how about a hand built muffler for those side exhaust outlets?

That is the muffler up there just in front of the independent rear suspension.

You can spot the side exhaust outlet directly in front of the rear wheel.
