There are lots of cool things you can do with your car but going fast is usually somewhere near the top. However, racing comes with inherent risks. Of course there is personal injury and the likely damage to the car. When we are spectators accidents are usually spectacular but don’t convey the real danger.
This video is a true representation of a typical open wheel accident and the images demonstrate the risk to car and driver. More than that the video demonstrates how rapidly fun turns to danger.
About the Author: I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California. The time there was very rewarding but the urge for a slower pace moved us to Tennessee a few years ago and we love it. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle. As long as it has four wheels on it I get excited.
