Part of the fun and mystique of owning collector cars whether they are muscle cars, sports cars, hot rods or rat rods are the stories behind them. The stories about how they were acquired, about the breakdowns, about the special trips and especially about the people encountered along the way. The Mission of our site is about helping you make your car a Legend.

1968 Hurst Olds Road Test with Jack “Doc” Watson and Bill Lindman

Here is the street version of what these two legends are disusing.

This is a very rare look back at not only the 1968 Hurst Olds and Bud Lindman with Road Test TV but the Olds Hero, Jack “Doc” Watson. You will want to listen closely to the Olds when Watson idles up to the TV camera.

How about 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds on Polyglass white wall tires? That was quick in 1968.

Here is a little trivia question for you. How much fun is this car? Watch to the end and listen carefully!

About the Author: I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California. The time there was very rewarding but the urge for a slower pace moved us to Tennessee a few years ago and we love it. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle. As long as it has four wheels on it I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife Katriana is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. When they don't we are usually out with our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.
