Contest for Most Memorable “Idiotic Thing I did To, With or In a Car story”

He’s an Idiot! Have you ever said those words or worse, heard them?

We are macho gearhead men, right? We never do anything wrong; we never get lost; we never drop a screw down an intake manifold on a newly built engine; we never put diesel fuel in our gas powered car; we have never spun out or lost a race to a girl! Yea, right!

Getting through life means you have to learn to laugh at your mistakes and screw ups. Some of the best times I have ever had have been sitting around telling/listening to stories about stupid idiotic things people have done.

Now, you have the opportunity to tell your stories and read how others have been even more unbelievably stupid than you. Plus, you have a chance to WIN your choice of a Muscle Car Book, an artist print or Speed Freak from our Online Store.

Here are the rules.

1. Send us an email telling us about the most idiotic thing you ever did to a car, in a car or with a car. If you still don’t know what we are talking about we will give you a couple of examples over the next few days. If you request we will not use your real name!

2. We will publish all we get, if there are too many we may select our favorites.

3. Everyone is invited, heck, encouraged to leave comments on every story. You can tell us that you have done the same thing or tell the author you can’t believe what an idiot he is!

4. At the end of the contest, we will decide when it will end, we will pick our favorite story and will award the prize to the one IDIOT we think is the biggest idiot!

5. Here is what the winner can choose from:

-Any Speed Freak in our Store

or

-A copy of the book Muscle Cars

or

-Any Signed artist print, size 11″x14″

Sound like fun? Get started and send in your Most Idiotic Thing you ever did To a Car, With a Car or in a Car.

About the Author: I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California. The time there was very rewarding but the urge for a slower pace moved us to Tennessee a few years ago and we love it. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle. As long as it has four wheels on it I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife Katriana is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. When they don't we are usually out with our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.
