1969 Trans Am Racing

I found this video and it brought make some great memories. It depicts the 1969 Trans Am racing series. Better yet, it gives wonderful insight into the entire life style of the late 60s and early 70s.
You will see some of your favorite pony/muscle cars doing four wheel drifts on the track, girls in bell bottoms, an AMX Pace Car, and lots of vintage race cars.
If you were there this will make you smile. If you wish you could have been there this will make you drool.
We absolutely love the old Trans Am series and hope to see it expand in its new format with the new Mustang, Camaro and Challenger.

About the Author: I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California. The time there was very rewarding but the urge for a slower pace moved us to Tennessee a few years ago and we love it. I have been into cars since I was old enough to remember. I don't have a brand loyalty although I do prefer American Muscle. As long as it has four wheels on it I get excited. Few men are lucky enough to be able to share their passion for cars with the woman they love. Fortunately, my wife Katriana is also a gear head and many of our activities revolve around the cars. When they don't we are usually out with our miniature donkeys. You can see more about that part of our lives at http://www.LegendaryFarms.com.

Unreal!!!!!!!!! Hope the new Trans Am format can compare!
Jeff, if the new format works half as well as the original NASCAR will be looking at a lot more empty seats at its races.
